Frank Latella is a fitness enthusiast and avid martial artist. When he was 16, he began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, and HaganaH at a martial arts studio in New Jersey. His skills quickly improved, as well as his strength and endurance. He attended a HaganaH seminar in Pennsylvania taught by Mike Lee Kanarek, founder of the HaganaH system. Mike chose Frank to be his assistant throughout the day and that’s when Frank’s perspective on training changed.
At 18, Frank moved to Florida to train with Mike at the HaganaH headquarters and became an instructor not long after that. Frank then became a certified personal trainer and worked independently out of his garage. Not knowing anything about business, he did not have many clients, forcing him to work two jobs that he did not like.
At 21, Frank luckily found a box gym that accepted him to be a trainer out of 3 other candidates. Frank implemented the HaganaH program to the gym’s members and gained many personal training clients. Frank was becoming successful enough that he could drop his two jobs and focus 100% on his passion. While putting more effort into the gym, his skills (business and training) greatly improved.
At 24, Frank wanted to take his business to the next level, and he did just that. Frank opened Strength 4 Combat and has a team of trainers and instructors.
“If achieving your goal is important you’ll find a way, if not you’ll find an excuse. Hard work pays off.” -Frank Latella
